Is this a revolutionary new program that can spin any text into 100% new content that is search engine friendly?
It would be super awesome if that was possible as it would save all bloggers a ton of time.
Zappr came up as something for me to check out from one of my affiliate marketing friends and I was excited at the prospect of doing so and sharing the results with you all!

What Is Zappr?
The sales page says Zappr is a plugin that you can install on WordPress and it will generate cash creating content with the click of a button!
One thing I have to assume as there’s no mention of it is that you would need to already have your own website.
If you don’t have your own domain, and the website I recommend you to choose my number 1 option.
Once your website is set up you will install Zappr in the normal way.
How Zappr Works
Once you have installed the plugin there are a few things for you to do to complete the process:
1. Insert your API Key for Youtube
2. Add the URL from any video that you wish to be turned into written content & post it as your blog post, or
3. Search for an article that relates to your niche or select longtail keywords
4. Then if you choose to you can Spin the content to make it “unique”
The aim of this plugin is to turn any youtube video into written content that you can then publish as a unique blog post for your website.
Transcribing video into text is nothing new and there are lots of free options available. Some of them do work really effectively.
You will also receive done for you template blog posts that you can utilise for more content.

What I Don’t Like About Zappr?
One of the biggest complaints I have are the wild hyped-up claims from the sales page like these below:
Another claim that the sales page makes is that it is suitable for newbies and I don’t agree with that because it takes a certain amount of training to set up a website and that is not provided here.
The traffic from social media won’t just materialize like magic so unless you pay for traffic I can’t see you getting any from that source.
I know as a beginner blogger it sounds brilliant to have done for you content but it is not sustainable as a long term business plan because you will all be getting the same content.
In order for Zappr to work properly for you, you will have to purchase all of the upsells which total $164.95 if you buy at the down-sell price which is a bit different to $12.95.
Note: The money-back guarantee does not cover the Upsells it only covers the $12.95 front end fee.
They use scarcity tactics on the website saying the offer will go up once the timer reaches zero and that is not the case.
Is Zappr A Scam?
The definition of a scam is a purchase where you don’t receive any product so based on that No It isn’t a scam.
you will receive a plugin whether it works like we are being led to believe is another matter entirely.
I always stay away from these DFY systems because as I have found to my cost a couple of times that they don’t work as well as the sales page indicates.
Google knows when content has been spun and it doesn’t rank it highly if at all! In my mind that makes this plugin redundant and a waste of money.
Duplicate content is something the search engines will penalize you for and your website could be kept in the sandbox forever.
my recommendation is that you stay away from this program like I’m going to!

I tried a similar thing but the words come out as a solid page. No proper sentences, no paragraphs and some doesn’t make sense at all. If you have to rewrite the whole thing you might as well write your own post in the first place, it would be faster.
I also tried a spinner once and got my money back as it came out exactly the same every time. A complete waste of time and effort.
I agree with you, writing your own content from start to finish is much better and easier.
Hopefully it will save some of those new to blogging from wasting their money.

Hi Lisa. Thank you for very interesting article. Im just started my own blog and still looking around for useful tools. To be fair I haven’t heard about Zappr plugin before, but looking on your review its not something I would invest money into. I don’t like idea of duplicating content and real price including upsells is quite high. I would definitely invest these in trainings or more beneficial platforms.

This does not sound like a good service and seems to target people who do not want to work hard on their online business. And it’s not technically a scam because as you said you are getting a plugin that you pay for. But just because you are getting something that you pay for doesn’t automatically mean it’s a good service. Are there any alternative plugins you would recommend?
